Philadelphia, PA  (posted April 8, 2010)  The Pennsylvania Small Business Development Centers have recently been awarded The Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) for Federal Region III and is currently seeking applications for the Program Director’s position which will be based out of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.  The VBOC will provide comprehensive business and management assistance and technical information to veteran entrepreneurs and business owners in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia.  The Program Director position entails considerable travel to ensure services are widely available. It is anticipated that 70% of the Director’s time will be spent traveling throughout the Region III service area to provide technical assistance and engage partners.
