Any person who is employed by the federal government on a full time basis; any retired person who had qualified as an employee of a (PTAP/PTAC) member in good standing; and any such other person whose membership is deemed beneficial to APTAC, as determined by a vote of the Board of Directors, after review and report by the Membership Committee.

The colleague category is a non-voting membership level and is subject to board approval annually.  The colleague category is not available to those charging a fee for personal services in a related field.  There is an annual fee for this level of membership; waived for any retired APTAC past president and for current federal employees.
