Members


Any Procurement Technical Assistance Program (PTAP) that is funded by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).  PTAPs (often called Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTACs)) fulfill the purposes of rendering government procurement and technical assistance to businesses in their state or region.  Members in good standing receive full voting privileges.

Associates – Two Categories:


  A.     For-Profit Organizations
  B.     Non-Profit Organizations

  1. For-profits - Any business or individual who does not qualify as a member or colleague may join at this level
  2. Non-profits - Those Associates who are qualified as non-profits under IRS Internal Revenue Code 501 (c)

Colleague - Three Categories:

  1. Federal Individual
  2. Alumni
  3. Other
  1. Federal - persons employed by the federal government on a full-time basis.  This is a nonvoting membership and not available to those charging a fee for personal services in a related field.
  2. Alumni - Former APTAC members who are no longer employed by a PTAC and are not currently employed by another organization and/or charging a fee for personal services in a related field.  Subject to Board approval.
  3. Other - any individual, agency and/or organization deemed beneficial to APTAC and the membership.  TBD by the Board on a case-by-case request.

These categories are all non-voting membership levels.
