Defense Logistics Agency Seeking 8(a) Machine Shops and Manufacturers

DLA Land and Maritime needs suppliers for spare parts

The Defense Logistics Agency has over 500 8a National Stock Numbers (NSNs) that were assigned to 8a contractors who have since graduated from the program. There is currently no contractor assigned to these NSNs – which are set aside for 8(a) firms – and the agency is having a hard time finding new 8a small machine shops or manufacturers that can provide these commodities.

An 8a contractor that can manufacture spare parts I/A/W drawings can contact DLA Land & Maritime directly to determine if they are good candidates for this work.  Contact points are Kristie Christie or William Chavez, both in DLA Land and Maritime’s Office of Small Business Programs at 1-800-262-3272 or email DSCC.BCC@dla.mil.
