USWCC / ASBCC to Hold 13th Annual DC Federal Contracting Summit

March 14, 2017

Event offers opportunity for Small Businesses to meet with federal agency and prime buyers

The U.S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the American Small Business Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 13th Annual National Small Business Federal Contracting Summit Spring Conference on March 29 – 30, 2017. The event will be held at the Washington Hilton, in Washington, DC.

The U.S. federal government is the largest single purchaser of goods and services in the world, awarding approximately $500 billion in contracts annually—23% of which ($115 billion) is allocated to small businesses. More than 50 Agency/Prime participating representatives are looking to meet with small businesses that have the capacity to perform the work.  All small businesses interested in government contracting are invited to attend.

The event will begin on March 29, when participants will head to Capitol Hill to make their voices heard on key small business issues, meeting with Congressional leaders and their staff. On March 30, a robust agenda boasts of Agency/Prime briefings and one-on-one matchmaking.
