DOE Small Business Forum – Technology Demonstrations and Opportunities

The US Department of Energy Office of Environment Management is hosting a Small Business Forum at the University of South Carolina Convocation Center on May 19-20, 2016. US DOE-EM recognizes fresh concepts, novel technologies, and alternative solutions can enhance worker and facility safety, improve operational performance, accelerate schedules, and reduce costs for environmental cleanup. Small businesses, by its nature, are innovators and can play a big role.
This event will feature:
- Private industry and academia interested in using Savannah River National Laboratory testbeds to demonstrate their technologies.
- Technologists, innovators and technical entrepreneurs with ideas to help DOE address priority environmental remediation concerns such as technetium‐99, cesium‐137, strontium‐90 and mercury.
- Advanced robotic and remote sensing techniques aimed at increasing operation efficiency, reducing personnel exposure and enhancing safety.
- Small businesses interested in doing business with DOE and its contractors.
