Northrop Grumman offering free cybersecurity workshops for small businesses

The US Department of Defense Office of Small Business Programs is getting out the word about Northrop Grumman’s free, 8-hour cybersecurity workshop designed especially for small businesses. Offered in collaboration with the University of Southern California Center for Economic Development through the Air Force Small Business Office Mentor-Protege program, the workshop will enable small businesses to be (1) familiar with the 110 controls in the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s Special Publication 800-171 and (2) able to identify areas where they may need to focus to comply with DoD’s cybersecurity requirements.

The workshop will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2019 from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Pacific time (11 am – 8 pm Eastern time). For full information, view Northrop Grumman’s flyer here. .

Advance registration is required.  To register, visit: https://sites.usc.edu/ced/cybersecurity-workshop/

Northrop Grumman plans to host 40 small business cybersecurity workshops in fiscal year 2019.
