Set-Aside Alert takes an in-depth look at the Small Business Administration’s HUBZone program for small businesses.
Under the program, thousands of census tracts around the country have been designated HUBZones due to a high percentage of people in poverty, and other factors. Small businesses established in these areas, and with a portion of their employees living in these areas, are eligible to compete for HUBZone set-asides in federal contracting.
